ESR® recognizes Pentafon’s responsible social practices

On February 27, the list of companies and organizations receiving the ESR 2023 Distinction was announced, and Pentafon was among those recognized for its outstanding practices in social responsibility and sustainability, respect for human rights, anti-corruption efforts, and support for social causes.

The ESR Distinction (Socially Responsible Company) is awarded annually by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi). It is a systemic process used to measure and compare the development level of good corporate social responsibility practices through indicators in the environmental, social, and governance (ESG) areas.

The strategic pillars of the ESR® Distinction are:

• Business ethics and governance

• Quality of life within the company

• Community engagement and development

• Environmental care and preservation

With 18 years of operations in Mexico, Pentafon promotes numerous programs focused on environmental care, social development, and community support. Among its key initiatives is the “Leaving a Mark” program, through which Pentafon implements sustainable actions such as collecting plastic bottle caps for recycling to support children and adolescents with cancer. Pentafon also leads annual reforestation campaigns and organizes cleanups of parks and public spaces; it promotes animal care and respect practices, providing ongoing support to animal shelters; and its business community regularly visits and donates to orphanages and senior care homes.

Through these actions, Pentafon promotes and supports the adoption of social responsibility principles as part of its organizational culture, aiming to spread a new socially responsible business mindset that inspires more companies.
