The world’s leading hypermarket chain, Walmart, selected Pentafon to install 50 service stations to meet the increased demand during the Hot Sale season, which tripled during the pandemic. Both companies worked intensively to recruit and train over 100 people in less than two weeks while maintaining social distancing, and to install and integrate secure systems so that more than 50 stations were fully operational in under a month.

Over the past 12 months, Walmart has opened five distribution centers to support its e-commerce operations: three dedicated centers in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, and two omnichannel centers in Mérida and Chihuahua.

Pentafon’s technology and expertise enabled Walmart to rapidly scale its service capacity, ensuring a high-quality experience for its growing customer base.
